NICHOLAS J. HERBOLD
Nicholas Herbold graduated from Grinnell High School in 1999. Nick obtained his B.A., majoring in Political Science and minoring in Philosophy, from the University of Iowa. Nick was the president of the student government while at the UI. Following college graduation, Nick moved to Washington, D.C. to work for the United States Senate. Nick later returned to Iowa to attend the University of Iowa College of Law where he obtained his Juris Doctorate, graduating from law school with distinction. Prior to entering private practice, Nick served as law clerk to the Honorable Mark W. Bennett, United States District Court Judge for the Northern District of Iowa.
Nick lives and practices law in the Iowa City area. He has long focused in areas of the law that impact families very personally, such as family law, estate planning, and business law. Nick is a certified mediator, and hosts mediations in Iowa City.
